I admit I like making characters. And complex ones, too. I'm sorry. I took and developed another of my concept sketches for E-A, and I got Kadie Flinders. For *Arcadium-School. Her design isn't actually that complicated (see here for the full-body picture by itself), and all her metal parts can be whatever colour, which is why they're not on the palette. Let's just say she repaints them?

History/Description:
Kadie isn't the most friendly person. She's very easily frustrated and has a very dry sense of humour, and is extremely sensitive to those who stare at her for more than a couple of seconds (though she tries to hide it with the typical 'tough girl' attitude). All of this negative attitude is probably due to the fact that -unlike most other hybrids she knew- she actually did know her history, before her guardian chose to wipe it clean. "It's for the better," they'd said, but she hated living without knowing what was behind her, and eventually forced her guardian to let her out of their care (as she was already legally an adult). With her, she took a load of money.

After several, brooding months where she wallowed in self-pity and frustration, she eventually decided to use her time more productively, and by chance, discovered the School. It was an impulsive decision which caused her to enroll herself into it. The rest, is history, as they say.

Her history is actually nothing extraordinary, nothing different to how other hybrids like her were created. Just the typical beyond-hope story: she'd been caught in the middle of a railroad/car accident, in which she was the driver of the car. At the railroad crossing, the train suddenly found a fault in the tracks and swerved off -- right into her car. The resulting injuries (such as an accidental dismembering of her right leg, knee-down, and her left arm) and third-degree burns saw her into intensive care, where her case was then declared hopeless. Kadie's near-dead body was then taken to a laboratory for experimenting, and she was given a new hope -- not that she's ever grateful for this, as she still doesn't know what caused her to be such a 'monstrosity'.
