fox animation by scrii fox animation by scrii
this was supposed to be scrii with the feather things and all but I forgot after the first frame, oops

just something I did while visiting relatives in M'sia after our Europe trip. The pacing and other things are off (and the secondary motion in the ears was lost in the sudden head-raise because I didn't draw enough frames ahah) and I didn't have the patience to scan/line all the frames up nicely but it was pretty fun anyway I suppose !

nngghyaaaaa, I've just done three years of an animation course and I cannot animate this good whyyyyyyyy you are so amazing ;w;

This is really very wonderful! The movement and expression and weight is all really very good, especially for being done on paper and without (as far as I can see) any sort of pegs to hold it all in place or anything! I actually really like the lines that pop up occasionally that are your arcing action guides; they somehow add a real nice touch to the whole paper animation texture and quality of it. 8D

Perhaps the only thing I could really suggest is perhaps try a little bit more follow through, like on the ears in some places (I think that was what you were saying!) and a perhaps more cushioning or softening on some of the sharper actions- but those sorts of things take a ridiculously huge amount of extra frames and are actually really tedious, so.. |D;; Either way, this is really fantastic and I love iiiittt!

YES YOU CAN, DON'T SAY THAT

I actually did it in a little notebook/sketchpad thing which was a terrible idea in hindsight as it would've been impossible to scan properly and I couldn't add more frames in between! I'm also glad to hear the arc guidelines aren't too distracting because I was too lazy to erase them orz

but thank youu for the crit and the lovely comment, next time I shall try to remember those points!! <33 might as well make it more tedious while it's already giving me a pain haha, right
