SO. It's winter break, and things are good! I'm gonna be going to Apollo Bay some time next week for a few days with my family, but otherwise I probably won't be doing much else apart from trying to finish the stuff my to-do list.

Aaaalso, some serious thanks for the 80k! ^^ Next kiriban is 100k which is a loooong way off (I think my last one was in 2005 or something haha), I probably hopefully won't be on dA then buuut still, thanks so much! I know numbers don't mean much etc. but I still appreciate it. _{And I'll save my complaints about not deserving it this time.}

Friday! Only one more week until winter holidays. I can't wait. I'm going to Apollo Bay some time in the second week, but apart from that I'll probably get to bum around and relax after a 12-week term (and suffering through the first VCE exams).

On that note, I've gotten nearly all my exam results back (apart from Art, I'm not sure when I'm going to get that one), and they've been fairly good. Biology and history weren't that great, but not like I care about history -- bio's what I'm worried about (VCE, ahh).

Oh well. I'll worry about that when school kicks up again properly after the holidays. I should also make a new journal CSS. I also got Firefox 3 but the lack of deviantMessage is driving me insane, so I'm checking for updates nearly every waking hour haha.

Sooo how has everyone been?

You may or may not have heard about this club already, and even though it's been inactive for a little while, it's come back to life and is gonna be more awesome than ever! It'll be really fun once there's lots of members and it's started rolling. And hey, designing characters was always fun, right?

Wow, I just realised they changed the update journal thing, haha. I'm glad the edit and delete buttons are links again instead of buttons... not that it matters anymore, 'cause I fixed my CSS so I didn't have to copy the main body code over and over.

Anyway~ I finished playing Hotel Dusk. Interesting game. Though I just wasted about half of my day playing it, and I should be studying for Biology and English exams tomorrow... Ahh, four-day weekend. Lovely.

The majority of us want to improve on what we do, including me (with art, obviously).

Soo... I'm not sure if anyone will actually reply to this, but I just wanted to throw a general question to everyone to critique any of my recent work (say... from end of 2007 to now). It doesn't matter what setting I've put on the deviations or anything -- just critique anything as hard as you want!

Yeah, I'm still busy. xD Got that history essay on the Vietnam War and a Chinese writing test tomorrow... all preparation for exams. Ughhh.

How do you pronounce Godot?

I've been curious for a while. It doesn't have to be the correct way, but that would be nice, too. Y'know, just in case I feel like saying it out loud one day? You never know. xD

[edit; Ahhh! In the Green Guide (the entertainment part of the newspaper I get), there was a game review of Apollo Justice (3.5 stars, but whatever). With a giant picture of Apollo going OBJECTION. Y'know, the one with Trucy behind him and the whole perspective thing going on with his finger? My mum showed it to me and started imitating him, but it made me so excited. Ahhhh.

In other news, I think I now pronounce Godot as Go-Do. With an O sound. xD Except the first syllable is less 'O' and more 'uh'. o__o I hate describing pronunciation over the Internet. Basically, no awkward 'T' at the end.]

Yeah. So exams are coming up (first week of June), and in the mean time I've been loaded with tests and assignments. Yay.

Therefore, I'm not going to have excessive amounts of time to do things such as... uploading art for clubs. I know there are many duties I have to fulfill, but I really should study and work well... otherwise my parents might get me a tutor for those subjects that I suck at, and then that would equal huge chunks of lost time in the long-run. Sooo just a heads up.

I've also got a huge pile of things to do art-wise (not all of them are in my dA journal to-do list though, 'cause that would be a bit overkill). Whooooooh.

[edit2; ohmygosh. I believe.. that I fail at Warcraft (not WoW. I think I'm just not great at micromanaging). ~lilshortiy and I were playing co-op... and we lost. To like... two normal teams and one insane team. And the insane team was on 70% handicap. AND we had another normal team on our side. Ohmygosh. xD What fail. I swear I didn't suck that much years ago, but maybe 'cause my sister always bailed me out when I was dying.

I need to play again to make myself feel better.
